Waiting For The Weekends?

Are you normally excited about the weekends? Ready for Friday? Or The End of Your Workweek? If that’s you, I believe I can help expand your excitement.

From my experiences - life is to short to be waiting around for the weekends. Notice Kechi Okwuchi - whom I met 4 years ago. She is 1 of 2 survivors of a deadly plane crash that took many lives.

Weekends! They are not only associated with the end of our workweek. They tend to be aligned with weddings, dinner dates, paydates, movie nights, traveling, beauty salons, barbershops, shopping, seeing friends, hobbies, concerts, gyms, cooking large dinners, etc. - you get it.

Knowing that life is short - why not incorporate more extracurricular activities on any given day of the week?

We should not regret doing what makes us smile more frequently. Keep in mind, people die every morning, every afternoon, every night … everyday of the week. In 2016, there were 1.8 deaths per second.

Now on a positive note: I’ve shared that there are 86,400 seconds in everyday, which affords us thousands of opportunities to tap into something - we enjoy. So can I challenge you - to Stop 🛑 waiting for the weekend?

Technically, you don’t owe anyone an explanation for wanting to enjoy life everyday. Personally - I am - ‘unafraid’ - ‘unapologetic’ & ‘unbothered’. Why? Simple. I am a #Learnedman. The Life Learner that embraces all experiences (trials and victories) since these experiences are designed to equip - #next.

Do us a favor. Stop 🛑 waiting for your weekends! Just live.

Remember to stay #Positive #Present & #Plugged.

Have an amazing day!
