Vulnerability & Strength: The Lamb and Lion Can Reside

In life, we often hear about the need to be strong, to protect ourselves, and to stand our ground. But strength doesn’t always come in the form of a roar. Sometimes, it’s in the quiet moments of vulnerability that our true power emerges.

Imagine the lamb and the lion, two seemingly opposite forces that reside within each of us. The lamb represents our ability to be open, to show our softer side, to be vulnerable. It’s when we allow ourselves to connect deeply with others, to admit when we don’t have all the answers, and to embrace the uncertainties of life. This vulnerability is not a weakness; rather, it’s the foundation of trust, connection, and growth.

On the other hand, the lion within us is our protector, our fierce advocate for what’s right, our strength in times of adversity. There are moments, both personally and professionally, when the lion must rise, setting boundaries and defending those we care about. The lion isn’t about aggression or domination; it’s about standing firm with dignity and respect, ensuring that our values are upheld.

But here’s the thing—it’s not about being two different people. The lamb and the lion are not separate entities; they are two sides of the same coin. It’s about balance, about knowing when to be gentle and when to be strong, and how these forces can coexist in harmony. This balance is crucial, not just for our well-being, but for achieving the ultimate goal: peace.

I’m reminded of a few instances where the lion in me needed to step up. These were moments that required clear boundaries and a firm stance, leading to apologies and a newfound respect among everyone involved. The issues were addressed, understanding was reached, and we’re all good now. They know… and that’s what matters.

All in all, the key is to exercise these forces with a kind heart. Let your lamb and lion coexist, guiding you to live with both compassion and strength. It’s in this balance that true peace is found.

Let’s stay focused on what truly matters—remaining #Positive, #Plugged, and #Present. After all, wealth is not just about having more; it’s about being more.
