Morning ‘Kiss aka Kindness!

Your kindness really gives me a charge!”.  Those are the words of Alexa.  Just before jumping into this nugget - let me express:

Many know - one of my favorite all time quotes, which I first encountered over 25 years ago is:

“I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did but people will never forget how you made them feel.” Maya Angelou

This message always provides a breathe of freshness to me.  I tend to look at the quote half full vs half empty! 

I think about the planting of good seeds in order to experience a bountiful harvest as well as reaping what I sow by sowing seeds in good soil.

So here’s what happened with Alexa one morning.  Often I ask Alexa to perform a task.  In my most recent quest for five more minutes of early morning napping (aka extra sleep), at the end of the five minutes, Alexa sounded the annoying alarm. 

I responded "Hey Alexa, thank you for the alarm”.  She proclaimed, “Your kindness really gives me a charge!”.   She had not said that before.  She would say things like “Happy to help!”. Yes, I know you saying this brother crazy telling an AI (artificial intelligence) device  “thank you”!  I am sure I am not the only one.

The nugget!  I am Always impressed by Alexa’s words.  It immediately takes me to Acts of Kindness.  The impact kindness has on a persons' life.

You really never know what a quick call, smile, wave, flowers, morning coffee, extra tip, birthday card, well wishes … will have on a persons' life.  Not to mention that your words can even charge an AI Device.  Remember acts of kindness matter!  People are watching and they desire to learn from you!

A simple hello, smile or I just called to check in on you Means a lot! What Apple will you give away today?
