Don’t Rush - Instead Take An Alternate Route.
I’ve learned, #LearnedMan (pun intended) not to rush, but instead take an alternate route. I stopped repeating behaviors that didn't offer elevation. Much of our lives are attached to time tables. For illustration purposes, we are birthed - then we: Sleep, Rise, Eat, Labor (Repeat). But, I love the fact we have that pattern - mastered. You would agree?
Briefly: Let's revisit the subject. 'Don't Rush But Take An Alternate Route'. When I was 21 years old, (one day at the gym), a veteran police officer shared with me - criminals normally watch their targets (victims) - they pay close attention to their daily habits. He said: "you should take alternate routes, reguarly - for your commute to and from work". Mix it up! Ironically, I was already doing that but not consistently. Certainly, not for the reason he shared. I was doing it, because - I am an inquisitive/scenic person. (Heck - I'm composing this blog at the beach now). What he shared - resonated - and I've never veered off that course.
Here's my message. Since you have the Sleep, Rise, Eat, Labor (Repeat) mastered, why not be positively, plugged & present? Planning an alternate route will combat repeating the same habits - you thought would yield different outcomes. You will be amazed - at what you will learn - by identifying an alternate route. You begin to explore life - differently. This will take you away from the "same old - same old". Life is truly like that box of chocolate. But, I've learned - if you make the investment in your growth, (not rushing but seek an alternate route), you can afford to just purchase the chocolates - you so desire. You will have a greater impact - by slowing it down - paying attention to the alternatives, - and Undeniably - you will be impacted and so will the people around you!
Have an amazing day!
Beautiful Sunrise this morning!
