Child Please!

I'm jumping right into it!  Are you more of a Child Please? Or F____You? That probably made you chuckle.

This brief nugget is about honesty. Although, I am more of the Child Please since I dropped profanity many mango seasons ago - I still have in reserves F____You!

So are you, more of a Child Please!? OR F____You!?

This became popular with Chad Ochocinco (AKA Chad Johnson), In #HardKnocks, back in 2009.  Where Chad, described Child Please!,  as a nice/dignified way of saying - F____You!  So where am I going with this?

Well, grandma, including the church saints, would say - Child Please! So as you can see - it predates 2009.  Which are you most likely to utter? The first or latter?  Child Please? or F____You?

Now that we have established your fancy, we can agree that words/phrases have signficant meanings and they matter. Including the When & How they are used.

For starters, The Idiom: 'With child', means - If a woman is with child, she's pregnant.  So - if I said, she entered the building carrying her child.  1. Would you conclude she is still with child and no longer pregnant. Or 2. Would you conclude, she already dropped her baby, therefore - she entered the building carrying her child in her arms?  Granted - if you selected number #2, you would have to conclude that "dropped" - means she already gave birth. Not that she literally dropped her baby. You get it.

Here's the nugget!  We should say what we mean and mean what way say. At times, we say what we believe people would like to hear or what we believe they need to hear.  Which means, we may tailor our thoughts to fit someone else's body.  Personally, I prefer the #truth

Truths are rooted in our beliefs so I want to know how you really feel about the situation.  This way - we are operating on the same planet.  No Mars, Venus or Jupiter.  Just Planet Earth.  You will be amazed how quickly you can discover someone's strengths and weaknesses including yours - all by saying - Child Please when applicable and/or Fuck____You, as warranred!

My guy, Thomas Jefferson said: F___You!  Wait - no! He said: "Honesty is the first chapter in the book of wisdom."

As I close, I get asked a specific question a lot. At different times and different ways - my POV does not change. Question: How "Honest" should I be? My Response: "Anything less than being "Honest" is a lie!" #learnedman

That’s it! Just want to keep this thing called #life - SIMPLE!  Remember to stay #Positive, #Plugged and #Present
