A Respected Professional.
While at the beach - catching a beautiful sunrise and through the rain - I was able enjoy a beautiful rainbow - while spending quality time - celebrating this beautiful thing called Life.
I want to chat a little bit about Respect & Professionalism. Lets attach professionalism and respect together. Sometimes it’s hard to figure out what respect is. Maybe not for you. But it may be a challenge for some. So let me over simplify it. As we know, if you work on someone’s job - they will have rules and regulations that you must follow. Let’s consider respect as the ‘Regulations’ that are to be followed. With that:
You know there are things you can not do coupled with things you are allowed to do. You must comply. Recognizing - we must treat people with respect (complying with the regulations), and we must treat people professionally - all while being courteous. You with me? 😄
Listen - we can’t go on someone’s job tearing it down. We have to be responsible for the things we say - for the things we do - and what we want people to believe - is the right thing to do.
We must be leaders! We must be responsible for good decision making.
We have to treat people how they ‘should’ people treated. Not the way they want to be treated - since sometimes, we are figuring out ourselves how we want to be treated. That’s normal.
No matter what - just begin to use Respect and Professionalism interchangeably so you are always being A Respected Professional.
